An Attempt at Exhausting a Place in Lansing, MI
Inspired by the work of Georges Perec
The rock under the water gives you a good perspective on how clean the water really is.
Trash and litter could be found along the bank of the river. As I sat on the dock, I would intermittently see a new piece of litter float down the river.
A view from a green bench on the bank looking out. I spent about 30 minutes here, most of the time just staring at the ripples in the river.
It wasn't until the 3rd day that I actually decided to look up in the sky, and that's when I first noticed the antenna.
This bridge kinda just made me feel sad. It could use some graffiti.
The path that ran under the bridge across the river. Many people crossed this path during my observing.
A continuation of the path across the river, the woods making it harder to see through.
A view downstream the river from the dock where I sat.

Here's just a few pictures I took during my observations at the river. Mouse over for a short description of my deep inner thoughts about each picture.
